Aloak Spam Filter Setup - Eudora
These instructions describe how to use the Aloak Spam Filter with Eudora, to move incoming messages identified as Spam to a chosen folder.

First, setup a rule to move all Spam email into the new folder automatically:

  1. Select Filters from the Tools menu
  2. Click the New button
  3. In the "MATCH SECTION":
    1. Select TOOLS from the FILTERS menu
    2. Click the NEW button
    3. Ensure that "INCOMING" has a checkmark
    4. Select "SUBJECT" from the "HEADER" drop down list
    5. Ensure that "CONTAINS" is selected below
    6. Type "*SPAM*" (without the quotes) in the text box

    Next, direct Eudora to move Spam email into a new folder that you will create.

  4. In the "ACTIONS" section
    1. Select "TRANSFER TO" then click the button to the right
    2. Select "NEW..."
    3. Type the name of the folder you would like to store the filtered messages (e.g. Spam Mail)
    4. Close the "FILTERS" window, saving your changes.
